Meet the Los Angeles Team Behind Fielding ADU Los Angeles
We’re not a franchise that flies in a crew from out of state. The people who build your ADU, convert your garage, or add that bedroom live and work in Los Angeles. We know what a hillside lot off Mulholland demands. We know how long the Van Nuys plan check line takes. We’ve pulled permits in every corner of this city, from San Pedro to Sylmar. Our team is background-checked, uniformed, and held to one standard: The Garrison Code. You’ll see the same faces from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
Our People

Miguel R. – Lead Technician, ADU Construction
Miguel has been framing additions and ADUs across Los Angeles for fourteen years. He started on rough framing crews in the San Fernando Valley, then moved into full builds, and now runs our most complex projects. He holds current OSHA 30 certification and is the guy who catches structural issues before they become change orders. Miguel is fluent in Spanish, which helps when walking a Spanish-speaking client through a framing inspection. Off the clock, he restores a 1968 El Camino in his garage in Canoga Park, and yes, he built the garage addition it sits in.
Dana K. – Senior Installer, Garage Conversions
Dana has converted more garages than most people have visited. She’s been with us for nine years, and before that she ran finish carpentry on high-end remodels in Silver Lake and Echo Park. Dana specializes in the detail work that makes a garage conversion feel like a house: door casing, built-in storage, stair transitions, the stuff people notice without knowing why. She’s certified in James Hardie siding installation and leads our training for new crew members. When she’s not on site, she’s hiking Griffith Park or working on a 1950s bungalow she and her wife bought in Atwater Village.
Priya S. – Service Coordinator, Permits & Scheduling
Priya is the person you’ll talk to the most before work begins. She manages our permit filings with LADBS, tracks plan check status, schedules inspections, and keeps every project’s paperwork in order so the price in writing stays the price on the final invoice. She has worked in Los Angeles construction administration since 2011 and knows the city’s permit process well enough to know when to push, when to wait, and when to call the inspector’s office directly. Priya is training for her second L.A. Marathon. She answers the phone like a human because she is one.
Jake T. – Apprentice, Framing & Site Support
Jake is in his third year with Fielding ADU Los Angeles and came to us through a local trade program in Long Beach. He works under Miguel on framing and site prep, and he’s the one making sure the job site is safe, swept, and locked down at the end of every day. Jake is studying for his general contractor’s license, and Reed mentors him on estimating. He lives in Gardena, plays basketball on Sundays, and genuinely enjoys reading the LADBS code bulletins. We’re not sure what to do about that last part either.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this team operates under The Garrison Code. It’s five rules that Reed Calloway, our owner, has enforced since founding the company in 2006: show up in the window, put the price in writing, build by the book, leave it clean, and stand behind it for a year. That’s not a poster in the office. It’s the standard Miguel applies to a wall framing, Dana applies to a stair nose, Priya applies to a permit filing, and Jake applies to sweeping a job site at 5 p.m. If the work fails inside that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. You get the same crew, the same standard, and the same guarantee on a $40,000 garage conversion as you do on a $400,000 prefab ADU install from Abodu, Cover, Dvele, Mighty Buildings, Boxabl, or Plant Prefab. That consistency is why clients in Los Angeles refer us to their neighbors. The team changes project to project, but the standard doesn’t.
When you call our office at (213) 732-1415, you’ll talk to Priya or another live person who knows your address, knows your permit status, and can tell you exactly where things stand. If you want to meet the crew before you commit, we’ll bring Miguel or Dana to your free estimate. You’ll get a written price before any work starts. No exceptions.
